Having studied graphic design in Trier, Germany, and fine arts in Milan, Italy, I spent 3 years in Hamburg, working across the fields of graphic design, illustration and exhibition.
I recently had the chance to live in the worlds most creative cities – I’ve been staying in New York, doing a show in Tokyo and enjoyed some more summer months in Melbourne... I am now back in Tokyo.
For a living (and for fun) I am doing illustrations for film productions and magazines (e.g. Die Zeit LEBEN, Player, intro), designing catalogues, posters and more (e.g. for heliumcowboy artspace) and writing for the Japan based art and design magazine shift.
My work has been published in “Freistil 3 – Best of European Commercial Illustration“.
After moving to the wonderful city of Tokyo in february this year it took me some busy months settling in, that's why this website was neglected a little. All the more I am glad to announce my contribution to the Heilbronn based art magazine casus for their november issue.
On this occasion I shot a film for their website based on an interview we did in october via Skype. You can watch it on their website and youtube. In addition I'll also take part at their yearly group exhibition from december 4th until january 22nd featuring all artists that contributed in 2009.
Surely worth visiting!
